To provide unmatched general trades services with character and purpose by creating successful partnerships with our clients.
We believe our core values need to be put into action. These values need to be easily put into action and describe what makes us tick, what drives our passion, what is at our core, and at the heart of MGT. These three phrases came out of our time developing The MGT Way as actionable core value statements and truly describe each and every part of our team, process, and delivery.
“When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier.”
Roy E. Disney of Walt Disney Company
Our core values act as vital and timeless guiding principles for our team. These aren’t merely words that are peppered throughout our website or tagged to our letterhead, but a mindset. They define our culture and who we truly are as people at every level on our team. We embody the meaning of these five core values and strive to live them out every day for our clients and team.
Our leadership team developed the MGT Way a few short years ago strictly on the premise that nothing can be fine-tuned until it’s first consistent. We took a deep dive into our company’s core processes or touchpoints to fully understand what was important to our team and our clients. We embrace the concept of “If everything is important, nothing is important” and developed this internal guide per se to keep the team on the same page. The foundation of our core values of integrity, gratitude, excellence, passion, and teamwork supported this framework.
Our proven process is driven by our project life cycles starting with Preconstruction, then transition into Construction operations, and then finishing with Closeout. Each of these parts of our proven process is then detailed further into specific core processes for the major touchpoints that every project undergoes as it evolves through the proven process. Not only does this keep us accountable and consistent, but it also is a live dynamic training tool that we use to train new hires. It acts as a reference manual for or team as well. Our leaders developed it with our teammates’ input and took over a year to fully launch this powerful tool for our team. Ultimately, the MGT Way allows us to provide our clients with the best project management, quality control, communication, and exceed their expectations when we deliver. Our passion is to exceed expectations with character and focus which could not be done without The MGT Way.
Pre-Construction
We start with a pre-qualification checklist to make sure our services align with your project needs. We then meet to go over the project specifications in order to create an estimate for cost and time based on the scope of work. Lastly, we deliver a project proposal and follow up with any questions.
Construction
This stage of the process entails hand-offs, execution, delivery, and quality control between our office and the field. Our ability to do everything in-house allows us greater control over the project and the promise of quality at every step.
Closeout
We close out a project when we verify the zero punch list, meaning there are no remaining items to complete. Focusing on high-quality work from the start minimizes the need for unnecessary repairs and project delays.
